"She twice accepts a lighted all-white passed to her by her companion, but does not drag and you begin to wonder if she is going to smoke. However, she later takes one from a cigarette-box, taps it, and accepts a light with aplomb, inhaling as she does so. The director cuts back again in the middle of a substantial mouth exhale, the last vestiges of smoke drifting from her nostrils. Toward the end, she lights up and takes a couple of drags in long-shot before balancing her cigarette on the edge of a kitchen work surface."
