"[Wong] smoking constantly in it, and runs the whole gamut of smoking behavior: exhales from the mouth, through the nose, snuffing out cigarettes, holding a cigarette between thumb and index finger while flicking off the ash with the ring finger of the same hand... Wong's scenes are brief, almost cameos, and sometimes there's a bit of a wait in between them, but if you're fascinated by mysterious, exotically beautiful women smoking in a black and white, film noire-like atmosphere, it's well worth the wait."
