"Bening smokes in almost every scene that she is in. Unfortunately she usually looks pretty haggard, since her character is in the midst of multiple mental breakdowns. She smokes a beige cigarette that I can not ID. I suspect it is a clove (not a More light) - and they are king length. She smokes somewhat awkwardly, with her fingers extended almost painfully rigidly, and I would describe her style as tense. Definitely not her best performance."
"Wood smokes in two scenes, and absolutely steals the movie for a smoking fetishist. The first scene is when she meets the main character. She comes right in, plucks a cork filtered cigarette that is wedged into the Christmas tree, sizes him up and down, lights it, has a talking exhale towards him. Then she teases him a bit while talking and dangling her cigarette, pulls off his tie, and drags him out of the room by his shirt collar. It's a brief scene, though it's pretty filmed well and her overall style absolutely made my palms sweat. The second scene is far more matter of fact and shot from a medium distance."
