"Seven scenes with five lightings. Joan's earlier efforts were unimpressive, but she certainly knew how to smoke when she made this one. There is a nice twin-jet nasal exhale and three talk-exhales, though they could have been better filmed. She chain-lights one cigarette from another in a car."
