"The charming Joanna Pettet takes a cigarette from her lover, briefly dangles then drags. She looks IRL, with a bit of a snap inhale, but there's no real exhale - she just talks and no smoke is visible even though she stays in the shot just long enough that one would expect some. Vendell plays a blonde bar girl who smokes with a holder. She mostly holds, but she does takes a few drags. It doesn't look like she really inhales much, but she still looks attractive and is clearly using her smoking suggestively as she comes to Peter O'Toole (a fatal mistake). Nicole Courcel isn't as glamorous as the other two actresses but does smoke well in her main scene, with a matter of fact drag and talking exhale."
