As before the cigar is half smoked, plenty of exhales. 3) She and Maverick are in a cafe and she lights up a cigar, a few exhales. 4) The final scene at the end of the movie, they are sat around a table having a farewell/goodbye drink, she is smoking a cigar. What makes this film good is the lady-like way she smokes her cigars."
