| Max (2002) | Molly Parker, Leelee Sobieski "Interesting movie set in post-WWI Munich, but the smoking is only fair, at least from the women. Parker has a terrific scene early in which she extracts a proffered cigarette from a pack with her teeth, accepts a light, and exhales slowly at the ceiling. Sobieski takes a drag from her lover's cigarette while snuggled up against him in a café, and appears to be just about to exhale into his face when the camera cuts away. Finally, a beautiful red-lipsticked extra is seen taking four close-up drags in a gallery, but each time, again, the camera cuts away before she exhales."
