The director cuts away, then back, and Gaskell can be seen lighting up with an an apparent inhale, then taking an uninhaled second drag. Both Gaskell and Pamela hold in a second scene. Claire accepts a cigarette and a light. Her first two puffs are unconvincing, but the third is a nice open-mouth inhale and talk-exhale"
