| Last of Mrs. Cheyney, The (1937) | Joan Crawford, H, Benita Hume, Aileen Pringle "Haven't seen the movie, but a brief clip on TCM showed [Crawford] a classic, beautifully lit 'puff' lightup and subsequent inhale. The clip cut away before the exhale, so I don't know if the scene itself includes it." "Crawford plays a glamorous high-society jewel thief, and has four or five scenes scattered throughout, all featuring lightups and exhales and one with a holder. All the exhales are very visible and some are ultra thick and beautifully lit. Also a couple of scenes where she dangles unlit before discarding the cigarette. Ranks with her best. Hume and Pringle have one scene each, nothing special."
