| Joanna (1968) | Geneviève Waïte, Glenna Forster-Jones, Jane Bradbury, Annette Robertson "Waite has four scenes, the first being the best: She takes a cigarette from a sleeping man, drags slowly, and lets a surprising amount of smoke flow from her mouth before exhaling a perfect cone. Two minor scenes find her holding a corktip with long ash and exhaling into the frame from just off screen. Her last scene is a match light-up followed by a close-up open-mouth inhale, but the white wall in the background renders the exhale invisible. Forster-Jones lights a corktip with a wooden match and takes several drags, but is seen out of focus in a mirror on the back wall; later takes two drags off a cigar, no exhales. Bradbury lights with a match followed by a decent drag exhale; perhaps more, but the editing cuts it up. Robertson takes a drag off a corktip, then talks briefly before blowing out a clear exhale. Lots of background smoking, too."
