"Whitman smokes two cigarettes, one after the other, in her only scene as a jaded, bitter teenager in this made-for-TV mystery. She inhales and exhales reasonably well, although not deeply, and does so virtually without stopping. Some may find that her smoking less attractive than it otherwise would be due to the jittery, defensive character she's playing and the equally jittery editing, which yields mostly quick cuts of an inhale, part of an exhale, a bit of a talking exhale, part of a light-up, a little more of a talking exhale, etc."
