Maho "In her first film role, Maho plays a sullen and rebellious Japanese 17-year-old girl who matures somewhat during the film but never quits smoking. She has quite a few scenes and some conversation with older relatives about whether she should be smoking. Her smoking is pretty straightforward but she clearly inhales and exhales well. She also looks great smoking with her pouty lips and orange hair if you like that sort of pop/punk look that seems popular in Japan."
