"[Lunghi] Smoked several cigars"
"Playing a bohemian lesbian in the early 20th century, Lunghi smokes small cigars several times in the last half of this sprawling mini-series. In her early scenes, which include a nice close-up or two, she doesn't inhale, but there's one scene near the end with more of a real inhale and exhale, although in a wider shot. A bit earlier, she also convinces Burton to smoke some kind of opium pipe with her at a party. In that scene, Lunghi drags with enthusiasm, clearly inhaling, whereas Burton drags tentatively and coughs, but in neither case is there any real visible smoke."
