"Reynal plays the granddaughter of the original Dr. Caligari, and runs an insane asylum. She has seven, mostly long scenes with many outstanding drag-exhales. Well-filmed, with a goodly number of close shots. Balgobin, playing a nurse, also does a respectable job in six scenes. A few drag-exhales. In one scene, she lights two cigs at once. A bizarre flick, but well worth a look for the smoking."
