"She does not smoke in the movie itself, but is seen smoking twice in the making of.. on the DVD. First we can see an exhale filmed from behind. Then there is a fantastic scene where she is tempted by co star Paul Bettany to take a puff of his cigarette. Running over to Bettany to take a puff, she accepts the cigarette with shaking hands in a display of mock desperation. She proceeds to take a long and deep inhale, followed by a full nose/mouth combo exhale. Bettany then asks her if it was good and Kidman replies: 'That was VERY good' with a brief talk exhale of the remaining smoke. Sadly the smoking incident from the Cannes press conference has been edited away, all we get to see is a smouldering cigarette in the ashtray next to her."
