| "Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Angie Dickinson
ep. #1.5, "Captive Audience", Oct. 18, '62 "has a profile light up with an excellent cone-shaped exhale at 7:10. At
17:27, the camera cuts to her as she talks out the smoke from her last
drag. Her gentleman friend goes over to her table and, after her lady
companion leaves, Angie drags and talks out her smokie exhale with a very
visible, strong nose exhale at the end. Angie certianally [seems] IRL."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Susan Oliver, Kathleen Nolan
ep. #1.7, "Annabel", Nov. 1, '62 "Susan takes a brief inhale from a borrowed cigarette, but there's no
exhale, and she holds ackwardly, as though she's never before held a
cigarette. In another scene, Kathleen accepts a light, and has one nice
exhale directly toward the camera in medium/close-up."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Lola Albright
ep. #1.9, "The Black Curtain", Nov. 15, '62 "Lola looses her lovely blond hair to be an auburn in this Hitchcock
thriller. At about 33 minutes into the movie, she suggests that her
companion have a cigarette to relax. She then takes a cigarette out of his
pack, lights it and hands it to her friend. To my surprise, [she] takes
another one out and lights it for herself. The camera stays with her, on
and off, for several drags and exhales. Not the best camera angles or
lighting but acceptable"
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Jayne Mansfield
ep. #1.12, "Hangover", Dec. 6, '62 "has three brief, half-hearted exhales, two from her mouth and one
from her nose. In this performance, she doesn't appear IRL at all.
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Anne Francis
ep. #1.16, "What Really Happened", Jan. 11, '63 "accepts a light in one scene, with a brief skyward exhale. She simply
holds in another scene.
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Linda Christian
ep. #1.26, "An Out for Oscar", Apr. 5, '63 "takes a brief (non-inhaled) drag and quickly blows it out in closeup. Not
much to see."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Madlyn Rhue
ep. #1.29, "The Dark Pool", May 3, '63 "lights a long all-white, with a pretty good exhale"
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Carmen Phillips
ep. #2.4, "You'll Be the Death of Me", Oct. 18, '63
"holds for awhile in one scene, then puts the cigarette into an ashtray
before pulling another one out of a pack and asking for a light. She
accepts the light in longshot, with no visible exhale. Overall, not much
to see."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Patricia Barry
ep. #2.10, "Goodbye, George", Dec. 13, '63 "lights two cigarettes (one for her husband), but shows very little exhale.
She pretends to take one more drag, but without exhale. Based on this
performance, she does not look IRL."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Diana Hyland
ep. #2.14, "Beyond the Sea of Death", Jan. 24, '64 "lights up in longshot, but shows no exhale. Later, she takes out another
cigarette, but never gets around to lighting it. Very little to see."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Pat Crowley
ep. #2.23, "A Matter of Murder", Apr. 3, '64 "The lovely Pat Crowley takes a drag in medium profile and, as the camera
pans in for a closer shot, exhales as she talks about the 'perfect murder'
with her companion. She finishes with a slight nose talk exhale. She has a
'text book' light cone exhale. Hot, in my view."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Diane Sayer
ep. #2.24, "The Gentleman Caller", Apr. 10, '64 "Diane uses a match to light a dollar bill, then uses the bill to light a
cigarette. Her inhale isn't too deep, but she has a nice profile exale in
medium shot. Looks IRL."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Lola Albright
ep. #3.8, "Misadventure", Dec. 7, '64 "accepts a light, and then smokes in a couple of later scenes. Her inhales
and exhales look VERY IRL."
"At somewhere around 0:21, Lola has a series of four drags and exhales. Her
drags are mostly in profile with the camera panning from front to profile
view. She has an excellent nose/mouth talk exhale that clearly places her
in the IRL column. Immediately following her very good smoking
performance, the next scene opens with her slowly exhaling a 2/3 smoked
cigarette with a sexually satisfied look on her face."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Lynn Loring
ep. #3.10, "Memo from Purgatory", Dec. 21, '64 "Lynn gives a very good smoking performance... Her first inhale, in
closeup, is followed by a mediocre exhale. However, in her next scene, she
has several inhales and exhales in medium shot, with one nice audible
exhale. Her exhales look very IRL, and I only wish that they had been
photographed in closeup."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Jocelyn Lane, ND
ep. #3.21, "The Photographer and the Undertaker", Mar. 15, '65 "holds a long cigarette in one scene, but unfortunately does nothing else
with it."
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Patricia Barry
ep. #3.23, "Completely Foolproof", Mar. 29, '65 "Smokes in several scenes with good inhales/exhales"
"Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The" (1962) | Collin Wilcox Paxton
ep. #3.26, "The Monkey's Paw--A Retelling", Apr. 19, '65 "Collin takes several short drags with half-hearted exhales in a party
scene. Pretty disappointing, but later in the show, she does exhibit one
very nice exhale in profile. All of these scenes are at medium-shot
length."
